Mark Joseph “MJ” Lorque started his career journey with Creative Bananas in 2020. He creates clean and trend-setting layouts that translate to best-rated feedback and reviews. MJ also works as a Project Manager, overseeing and ensuring projects are completed in a timely manner and within the budget. He works closely with Design Lead Alexis Bigcas and other Creative Bananas artists, Nicko Kasan and Jem Aquino. MJ reports directly to CB’s Co-Founder, Design, and Tech Executive, Elron Naranja.
Prior to joining Creative Bananas, he worked in different industries, from food to outsourcing. MJ’s creative roots started in high school as a Journalist for their campus paper, writing and collaborating with his gifted colleagues. Fun fact: he can’t sleep without his favorite mosquito net and a good Youtube video. He’s inspired by two distinguished artists, the Philippines’ own literary legend—author of Stainless Longganisa—Bob Ong and Italian Polymath of the High Renaissance, Leonardo da Vinci.
MJ was born in the city of Cabuyao, Laguna. He studied in Pamantasan ng Cabuyao with a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology.
